Hey everyone!

So it's Sunday night here and I thought I would update you on what has been going on the last couple days.

I last left off with our guided bus tour around most of London and the major sites including the London Bridge, Tower of London, Big Ben etc. That was on Thursday.

Yesterday (Saturday September 8th) a group of us went to the British Musuem as part of a homework assignment for our one class. Horrible assignment right?lol. The majority of the museums in London are free, but maps or anything like that cost money, so I essentialy paid 4 dollars for a map of the museum. Oh well. The Museum is incredable. It is three floors covering everything from ancient egypt, ancient greek and roman times, the americas, africa and slaves etc. I think the most interesting find was the rosetta stone. It's the slab that was used to deciphor egyptian hyrogliphics (sp?) It was a sight to see. The stautes from the Partenon were also amazing. We didn't get to go around the entire museum because it is so huge, but I will be going back.

After the museum we meet the rest of our group at a local pub to watch the UK vs. USA world cup rugby match. We lost miserably, but no one was really paying attention to the game anyway. lol. We all ordered our first fish and chips (how american lol) and ended up getting fairly pissed (again..drunk)(again..sorry mom and dad). It was a really fun night and we ended up meeting some south african natives and the bartender who was actually american. It was a lot of fun, and everyone enjoyed themselves. The only thing we didnt enjoy was waking up this morning and realizing how much we spent on beer. (it wasn't pretty).

Today was spent mostly getting our things straightend up, tidying up the room, and reading for class. Homework isn't that bad, so we just tried to get it out of the way.
