SO it has been about 6 weeks since my last blog, mainly because I forgot to write a new entry ;) A LOT has happened since my last blog, so I'll try to cut a very long story short!

The day after my last blog I went to Bochum to see Becky for 5 days. Most of this trip was spent eating, drinking and watching Sherlock, followed by more eating and more drinking. We were joined on the Friday by Lucy and Nathan and had a great time with them too, and the next day when they left we were joined by Ele and had more to eat and drink.

The week after my sisters came to visit for a few days. On the first day, we were in frankfurt and had a good look around and saw the "sights". This day was however Valentine's day so we went home to make chocolate strawberries and hot chocolate to have with Jana for our anti-Valentine's day. The next day the girls were allowed to spend the day in school, so we were all (thankfully) separated for the day in different classes, which they seemed to enjoy in the end. The next day we went to Heidelberg (those who have read previous blogs should have guess by now where I would be taking them!) where we had some really good, typical German food. The next we went someone that was new for me too-Mainz! It was a really nice city and we saw a lot, but I feel we should have researched the place better before going.

Sadly the next day they had to go home, but what followed was probably one of my favourite few days in Germany so far-FASCHING! We had been waiting for this weekend for months, planning out costumes and sorting things out. We dressed up in our theme of "bad taste" and headed to Heppenheim to join a few other friends. We drank, watched the parade, partied, drank some more and had a great time. We then headed to Apfelbaum and partied some more! Two days later we donned our costumes once more and headed to Lorsch to another parade, and of course, we drank even more!

The following weekend we did nothing, partly because we needed to recover from Fasching and partly because no one wanted to party again. The weekend after I have no idea what I did, it was too long ago ;)

However, the following weekend was Nathan's birthday weekend, so I headed up to Minden on Thursday evening. Myself and Nathan had a nice dinner and a pudding consisting of 20 Bailey's profiteroles, 12 waffles, yogurt and cream. To say we felt sick is an understatement. The next day we were joined my Lucy and I cooked us a 3 course dinner and then got "pissed as a fart". Ele and Becky came up the next day and we went out for dinner and cocktails and just chilled.

And finally, last weekend we tried out 2 new clubs, one in Bensheim and one in Frankfurt, both were very good, and we shall certainly be going again.

I will never leave writing a blog so late again!
