So, due to this typical London weather, I don’t have a lot to report. On Thursday night I went to Tiger Tiger, which is one of the most popular clubs in London. It was fun, there was live music downstairs in one part, techno music in another part, and upstairs was the club scene. Class on Friday was brutal. Of course, as usual, we snuck out and ditched. (These lectures are boring enough to actually kill someone). Normally we go to a pub and eat lunch and drink some pints before our mandatory field trip, but on Friday we all just went home and slept. The field trip was really interesting. We went to the Imperial War Museum. I learned that I’m the same size as a missile!
The weekend was not what I intended it to be. I had so many plans… St. Paul’s, the London Eye, the British Open, Chelsea….none of them happened. The point of St. Paul’s: get to the top to see the view. The point of the London Eye: ride a huge ferris wheel and stare at the view. The British Open: stand outside and watch golf. The point is obvious – a lot of the things left on my list of things to do require beautiful weather. It was foggy and thunder stormed all weekend. Fail.
This weather is supposed to clear up soon, and when it does, I will not sleep until I leave London. There just won’t be time!
