Today, it was 40 degrees and raining ALL day. I miss sunshine. It was a good day at work; I think I’m finally getting used to everything.

After work I met up with Jessica at a pub and had my first infamous fish and chips. When Jessica and I sat down at the table, we opened a new jar of ketchup. Well, guess what, we finished almost the whole thing, between the two of us. It was disgusting, but hilarious. We drank these berry ciders that were the most delicious drink I’ve ever had.

When we got home, I made a big step forward in my life. I finally threw away my scrappy pair of leather boots. Today, the rain killed them. The sole came unglued from the rest of the boot and the leather peeled off even more. I guess this means I’ll have to buy new ones!

So, finishing a jar of ketchup and throwing away my boots were the only remotely exciting things that happened today.

I’m going to bed early tonight so that I can be prepared for class, The Museum of London, The World City Collection, and then AMSTERDAM!!!!!

I need a break from this city, I can’t wait.
