We are joined by a second man with Down's syndrome, younger than the original and more in need of rescuing from his care givers. He appears slightly more spirited than the original but no less handsome. Both, we think are German as is the group of 8 people with supporters, we can't quite work out who is in need and who is delivering support. We think that is due to the German ness. This all leads us to ponder what provision there is in other parts of Europe for people. Enough of that, we are on holiday, but I just remembered why I decided on international social policy for my masters.
Wednesday or The famous es Cana hippy market day. There has been a hippy market in es Cana since 1973 but I'm pretty sure it was just called a market back then as the word hippy merely represented the predominant global youth culture at the time,

Double up as my favourite summer holiday wear and 1970's themed fancy dress party. Bargain.
Thanks to great directions from one of vikkis tutors and a fellow jewellery maker of mine at college, we found the hippy bar after the hippy market and we enjoyed beer and pizza on the beach.
Just beside this bar is a campsite which doubles as holiday campers and living accommodation for those retaining the hippy lifestyle, living on European beaches, braiding hair by day and making music by night.
Vikki told me that with a social worker is a much required occupation across Europe ... And maybe we could move to Spain ... We talk dreamed out loud sbout vikki doing a proper job, me making jewellery and selling at hippy markets ..., living on a beach in a yurt... And then I remembered the how hot it gets in summer and decided to stop dreaming.
