We left Millau, paid our money and cross the bridge in glorious sunshine. Norman Foster has done a good job on this bridge, whilst it is a modern construction on a historic area, in my view it does not impose and fits in well with the region (Mind you I am a fan of big engineering projects). Tonight we camped beside a castle. We have travelled from Aubosson to here through the Volcanic National Park of France. A region of extinct (one hopes) volcanos which can be easly spotted as you drive through the region. The weather was not great but it was still a pleasure to drive through the countryside.
