So, this Friday, Jessica, Isaac, Monica, and I all went to Aschaffenburg.Isaac was on time this time, so we all were able to go.Jessica didn't want to go, but she went anyways.Anyway, so we had to go to Frankfurt first, then to Hanau then from Hanau to Aschaffenburg.Well, in Frankfurt we had to switch to the S-Bahn to go to HanauHbf.Well, somehow or another, Isaac got separated from Jessica, Monica and me. So, we three got on the train, and as soon as I got on, the doors slammed shut behind me.Then we looked around and Monica said, 'Where's Isaac?'We then looked out and saw that he was stuck outside of the train and missed it.So, we got off at the next stop and decided to wait and try to meet back with him.So Monica and I rushed up the stairs to call Isaac to tell him to just get to the next station.Well, of course like any person, he was missed and yelled, but then I just told him to meet at the next stop. However, after doing this, we realized that the next train was going to Hanau anyways, so we lined up along the track waiting for the train, and which ever one of us saw him first was to tell him to get back on the train.Well, I happened to see him first so I yelled out across the train station, "GET BACK ON THE TRAIN!!!" Then I ran to get on the train myself. Then, because Isaac was in a different car, we decided to car jump each time we stopped. So, each time we stopped Monica and I opened the doors and Jessica ran out and into another car. This when on like three times then we finally found the car with Isaac in it.It was really funny, and fun; a great time. Then we got to Hanau and bought our ticket to go to Aschaffenburg and finally got there about 2 hrs behind schedule.Upon our arrival, we booked it to Schloß Johannesburg where we got tickets to go inside. However, after getting there, we found out that the Pompeijanum was closed and didn't open until the summer…. It was very sad, but we survived. We then took a tour of the castle and saw a lot of the cool rooms there. It was really cool!!After that, we went out and it was pouring down raining. But, we wanted to see the Stiftskirche, so we headed there. There, we got to see this famous Grünewald painting, and the body of St. Margaret.OMG!!It was the weirdest thing to see the body of a saint like that.Like I've heard of it, but I've never actually seen it.Really interesting, I though. So I took many pictures to remember the event. After that, we booked it to the Hbf again b/c Monica needed to get back to Maniz to buy a Fasching costume for a party she was going to and Jessica and I were going to hang out with the people from her church.
Once we got back, Jessica went and got herself a hair appointment, but by the time this was over we didn't have time to go back to our rooms to change, so we went to McDonalds and waited for the train to Wiesbaden. After meeting Susanne (She likes to be called Susan) we went to Wiesbaden and then waited for Mark to come pick us up.However, while we were waiting there I saw a man go up to the DB train counter and ask in American English, "Hi, is this the train information center?"Well, the man working there just said in English, "Sorry, I don't speak English".Well, the man got upset, as anyone would do when they were in a country where they didn't speak the language and looked to his friend and told him he didn't speak English. So I walked over and said, "Excuse me, can I help you?I speak German"and he said, "Yeah, thanks.I need to get to Frankfurt."So I told the man and he told me which track the train to Frankfurt was leaving on, and I relayed the information, thus helping this nice American get back to Frankfurt and making myself feel good in the process. It was nice to use my language abilities to help someone, I must admit.
When Mark came to get us, we went to the Bowling Alley and met Michelle, David, Sarah, and Dwight. We bowled and had a good time. Then we went out to eat and stuff and that was really cool too.I think I'm going to go to Jessica's church in Wiesbaden now because I want to get to know these people and hang out with them. After, Mark drove Jessica, Susan, and me home to Mainz, and it was all good!Perfect end to a perfect day!!!
