Mansilla de la Mullas to Leon After a paella and a good nights sleep last night, I feel pretty good again this morning for the 18km walk into Leon. It's a beautiful morning and the route today follows a senda (path for the Camino), the 'hard shoulder' of a busy road and specially built Camino tracks and road bridges. I bump into Mike from London, one of only a handful of British people I have met since day one. There are a good number of Australians, Americans and South Koreans on the Camino and I was interested to learn about the importance of Christianity and the popularity of the Camino to young people in South Korea. After the relative 'wilderness' of the past week since leaving Burgos, the busyness and noise of a big city takes a little while to adjust to but it's great to be here. 300 miles walked and 200 miles to go to reach Santiago. Leon is a big city with lots of historical buildings to discover, particularly the Cathedral, and I shall do this tomorrow on a rest day from the Camino.
