A Coruna
Following a flight to Santiago de Compostela and a rail journey north through Galicia, I arrived at A Coruna, one of the start points for the Camino Ingles.
For me, it represents a short sightseeing opportunity before I make my way to my start point further north at Ferrol.
A Coruna is a vibrant city and tonight's walk along the harbour and promenade was full of thousands of Spanish people enjoying an early Summer's evening.
The city has an amazing marina front with a great number of glass fronted buildings. The city is in full swing and at nine o'clock, I find myself in a tapas bar doing a good trade. Lots of seafood here including 'pulpo', or octopus to you and me.
