Day 14 pretty ordinary day today. Did some gardening in the morning and then a man from Australia dropped by and said he had heard about the place and was interested in giving some money. I was given the task of showing him round and explaining what the place was about. He was really nice and came back that afternoon with some money. I am amazed at the generosity of ordinary people who want to put something back.
The afternoon was so hot it was decided that I should take some of the kids to the waterfall to cool off. It was much busier today with lots of Thai people. So there is a rope going accross the pool which all the Thai people are behind. Last week however we went beyond the rope swimming in the deeper part next to the falls. So I couldn't resist showing the kids Andy Gowers party piece !! I climbed up on top the large ledge and promptly did a Gower bomb into the water. The kids were killing themselves and the rest of the Thai People looked stunned !!! I then couldn't stop the kids doing bombs from a much lower level. Eventually the crowd began to lighten up and see that it was fun !!!!! We had a great time and when we came home we went back to work. Tonight we had a birthday celebration for the twins here who were 12. But of a party and knees up. Tomorrow our German volunteer leaves and a new guy arrives from the USA so Ill be sharing a room with him next week. Been spoiled these last tow weeks having a room on my own but its only a week now before I move on and have a week on my own. I'm so looking forward to a soft seat. Every seat here outside is made of concrete or wood and after a while it takes it toll on your back side. Then feeling as though you have sat on razor blades its time to jump into a concrete bed. All good sermon fodder. Again thanks for the messages sorry I can't reply as there doesn't seem a way of doing that. And by the way mum happy Mother's Day your the best . Xxxx

Gilly It is so funny that you consider all the things you have done today as "ordinary". Hazel Grove is going to seem so boring by comparison unless you and Mark go off swimming in ladybrook every afternoon! Keep up the good work and enjoy very minute of it. I am looking forward to hearing all the sermons that come out of your adventures

Andy Your a legend, I have seen the video of the Gower Bomb, and I give you 7/10, but why didn't you go to the top off the high cliff bit !!!!!!!! It looks an amaizing pool, and I'd love to Bomb it with you one day !!!!!
Anne Welch Hi Billy, its really good to hear your news and am sure you must be having an extraordinary time. How are you coping with the snakes and is it hot? Things have turned the corner in the Welch house, Mark was fully discharged last Wednesday and is now off all meds. He is so so much better. We had a wonderful ladies day with Jonathan and Claire, they brought us "Worship as a Lifestyle" to focus on. David Betts spoke on Noah yesterday which fed our souls in a mighty way. Its been trying to snow in Hazel Grove this morning but the sun has driven it away. We are missing you, but so pleased your are enjoying your time away. Bye for now :)
Joan Scrivner Hi Billy you really are having an adventure and HGBC will seem 'tame' when you come back. At least we don't have giant ants, spiders etc! I sympathise with you regarding the hard seats - I know the feeling well!! Take care and continue to have a wonderful time. The pictures are wonderful - what an experience.
