Day 3. Up at six this morning and had a busy day . After breakfast took the kids to school - 16 of them in the back of a truck !!! Then went with Kate to the market. She is an amazing person and cooks for everyone. She used to be a Thai dance teacher in the hotels until the tsunami hit. We then got everything ready for the arrival of 21 international students from a school in Holland. Believe it or not I had to rig up some portable lighting !! Gordon Moss watch out. The incredible thing is that they actually worked !!! In the afternoon we then built the children a swimming pool -that is we dammed up the river next door. Great fun and now all shattered . The coordinator for the visit is a grl from Scotland called " Karen " so we had a good chat. The other new experience of the day was an encounter with the giant ants. I spoke to one and he said they were just waiting for me. They get their Jaws right into you and hold on for dear life when you try to brush them off. The antiseptic cream is coming in handy. All good experience. Who knows what tonight's creature will visit my bedroom ,,,,
