Day 9 Sorry this is late. someone changed my keyboard to Thai so I have been sorting it out . Another interesting day. Started to paint the tables from the coffee shop while the other girls went to the local school to teach English. Found a large frog perched just above my head as I was painting. While the paint dried I did a bit of sweeping. The leaves here are never ending and I mean never ending. It was so warm that we went to the waterfall for half an hour to swim and cool off. When the kids came home we had a game of Footie which they really enjoy. We then had to move a massive pile of leaves and branches. The reason for this is because this is idea habitat for the snakes and it is too near the compound. You should have seen the kids go at it. We all had a great time and then took the wood down to the dam to re enforce it. While we were doing that. We found a complete shed skin of a Cobra !! I was very careful where I put my hands and feet after that. Disturbing the pile also brought out the giant ants. They are right little devils. Attach themselves to your skin and bite you and hold on until you squeeze them off.
After dinner we played with the kids and they then had a meditation. I stayed up later with some of the other adults and we had a beer together. My latest night yet. Who knows what fun well have today.
