Sunday : sunny
Up and ready early this morning. We had a nice long break at a quiet cafe. The went back to the hotel to pick up our laundry.
No items of clothing missing this time, but somehow we managed to get other people's clothing mixed up with ours.
We returned the extra clothing then hit the streets looking to barter down the price of two great looking paintings. One painting was of the view similar to the one from Tengbouche, a town from our Everest base camp trek. The other was from this trek a great view we had only a few days ago in Tadapani.
Both paintings are quite large and pricy, turns out still too pricy we could only knock $200 off each painting. Far too much especially when they won't even be hung up for awhile. We will have to have a look for some painting back in Kathmandu.
We them went off to the seeing hands massage clinic. The blind Nepali there, are trained by physiotherapists and they sure know what they are doing. The pressure and warmth was spot on. We had to pay a little extra for the massages but at least we got what we paid for.
After the massage it was time for the rugby semi against Aus and Nz. Which woke me up from the sleepyness for sure, but unfortunately Nz got up. The wallabies conceded far too many penalties, something not to do when playing against the all blacks.
Never mind hopefully the Ozzie's can win against the Welsh for third spot, and I'll be barracking for Nz over the smelly French.
After the game we went back to the hotel to pack our bags in the dark. Got to love the Nepal's 16hr power outages. Nepal relies on hydro power and to conserve energy it shuts down areas. It can be annoying if the hotel doesn't have a generator.
We got some takeaway pizza and ice cream for another movie session tonight, up early tomorrow for a bumpy bus ride back to Kathmandu.
