Even though I haven"t done anything huge lately I thought I would drop a quick line. I"m still in Panajachel, but I think I might be leaving soon, the only question is to where...? Hmm. Choices choices. But for now, two things. First: I am so very depressed to report that my camara and iPod were stolen last week and the worst part is that my camara had a good 300 pictures on it that I hadn"t burned onto a disc yet. So I lost everything that I hadn"t put on this website. Second: I"ve been hanging out with my friend Pajaro lately and he"s quite quite a character. He absolutely loves to cook and about every other day we meet on the street somewhere and he invites me to go to the market with him to get food and then he cooks up the most fabulous meals for half the price of a restaurant. I think spending time with that boy is making me gain back all the weight I lost living "on the street" before. ;) Also, a week or so ago he (with dog, Liepa) led me up a so-called path to a little rock outcrop in the hills above Pana for a great view of the city. And in true Natalie fashion, I twisted my ancle pretty thoroughly on the way back down. Oops. I don"t know though. I like Pana a lot, obviously, but I"m feeling kind of stagnant at the moment and am not quite sure what to do with myself. For the moment, I will continue listening to the music from "Twist: the Musical" sung by my dear Garrit in his first off-broadway production.
