Well, this is the last blog entry of my year abroad. I know I missed the last bit in China, blog-wise, but suffice it to say that Kashgar was fantastic, what with the market and buying knives and all, even despite the 23 hour train ride to get there. (Actually, that was quite nice, Becky and I hung out with a bunch of Finnish hikers playing Yahtzee for most of the trip.) Then mom, Becky and I went back to Beijing for the last few days and did some last minute type things before splitting and going home again.
Now I have been back in the states for a week. I arrived in LA on the 5th and got to hang out with my sister in Costa Mesa for a day or two before we made the looong trip back up to Gig Harbor. California was fun, I got to meet a bunch more of Marilyn's friens and spent my first night back in the country eating tons of fatty food at the Orange County Fair. :) It took us 2 days to get back home from there, reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows out loud to each other the whole way. (AWEsome book, by the way.)
But now I am chilling at my dad's place and slowly trying to get in touch with all my people here. If you're reading this at all, you are one of the few of my "loyal followers" left from this year. Check out my last album of China pics and thanks a lot for reading about all my adventures this year! I hope you enjoyed them as I did. Now do call me because I'm finally home! :)
