No aire here so we parked overnight on the large central carpark. A bank holiday here so everywhere closed - apart from a shop that sold us icecreams.

Two nights here. Nice small town. Our immediate neighbours are English - well, Geordie actually - and are waiting for the local garage to open on Tuesday, Monday being a bank holiday. They thought a bumping noise on deceleration was a loose radiator. I said I thought it might be a worn universal joint in the drive shaft. They were newly out with nearly four weeks holiday left so not to worried. Used the local launderette.

Up one minute, down the next ..... That is, if you have ankles like mine. Walking back after an enjoyable lunch at the local Relais - buffet starter, steak and enchalotte sauce for me, Dorado with a l'orsaille (sorrel) sauce for D, followed by the cheese board, ice cream and a Peach Melba, I ended up in the middle of the road with a skinned elbow and a turned ankle. And no, it wasn't the half pinchet of red we had shared!. Very warm and sunny, although Friday...

Nice little town with very little of note apart from the 'Cascades', which we could hear but not see from the aire. Had an uninteresting 'formule' lunch where the main course was a distinctly cool (as in temperature) lasagne.

Pleasant little one-street town. Intending lunch, by the time we'd 'inspected' all the restaurants, they'd all closed.
