Back on the road after a most enjoyable two day break at my cousins at Poynton. Great curry, Chris. Our thanks to both of you.
14.9.11 We seem to have spent the last few months waiting around for medical appointments and results. The fitting of a 125w solar panel - which seems to be working well and should allow us to be off-site for longer periods - meant repeated trips to Leisuretech in Clitheroe. It's made a nice change being able to spend time with Sarah and Richard in Hull - jazz at Pave, Springbank, Sunday lunchtimes is a treat.
The ferry, Dover to Calais, is booked for 05.00 Monday 19th. At £31 it's cheaper this time than DFDS, who want £40 to take us to Dunkirk.
Our next stop, on route to Canterbury, is the CL at Melton Mowbray where I have to repair a hole in the diesel heater exhaust. The 'Honker' who drives past us at twice the speed limit with his hand on the horn (cars) in the early hours of the morning will no doubt miss us!.

France yet again and at familiar Gravelines - it's getting to be like home, our 3rd visit this year. First job the launderette, by bike as usual. We're parked virtually in the same spot as last time, the sun is shining, it's windy and we've had our first French cafe coffee of this trip. Very nice.
