Tin Can Wanderings
Rather gray today with a few spots of rain during the day and quite heavy by evening.
Called at Coulons sur Gee but couldn't find the aire. Looks as if it no longer exists. Quite glad, really, because La Flêche is very nice. We've changed rivers. Last night it was the Seine and container ships - tonight we're on the banks of the Loire where it's canoes.
Have now had our first café experience this trip. Two vin rouge whilst watching Wales win the Grand Slam. Strangely, nobody else in the café seemed interested in the Wales v France match. Will be staying here tomorrow.
Sunday.
Excellent lunch at Le Relais du Loire, starting with Scallops St. Jacques then duck followed by raspberry flan and coffee.

pete and jackie the exterminators So you are back across the Manche. Is it a touch nippy? On standby to head for Ireland as eldest is expecting her first next week. Will keep you informed. We will be heading to France in late August, have booked a cookery course in the Dordogne in September.....
