So yesterday was a town day. Alida, Wendy and I. Two hours drive to Kununurra. Felt really strange to be back in civilisation... first port of call is breakfast. At home (NZ) I have consistently skipped breakfast and here it's two breakfasts. First one around 5:30 is cereal and then followed by a cooked breakfast around 8-9am. I'm not complaining - although the scales might when I get home!
Went and checked out a free quarter horse. Young, hadn't done a lot, just too much work for the current owner. A very rough coat on it - supposed to be liver chestnut but not so something isn't quite right. Extremely upright hooves - looked more like donkey feet. Long heels that were contracted. I think it will stay where it is. Too much work on an unknown horse to get it right.
Went to a sandelwood shop, was looking for shaving soap but none there. Lots of other stuff but left it there, then headed to a soap place, which wasn't me at all. A pottery place next door which again was acquired taste. Headed to Cole's where we caught up with Roderick and Pete. Then went grocery shopping and picked up a spare tyre, fuel 150 litre tank, a new cowboy hat for Wendy. A few bottles of wine and then swung into a produce place before heading home.
A good day out really. Groin feeling somewhat better, so hopefully on the right track

Natasha I can't imagine that you're not using all that extra breakfast up in activity and heat acclimatisation! :)
