Lagos, Portugal
From Lisbon to Lagos you have the option of taking a bus or train. We opted for the bus only because it left sooner then the train did which meant less wait time at the station for us. The bus ride is 4 and a 1/2 hours but the scenery (if seeing it for the first time) is picturesque. It was lush green farmland spread over rolling hills. Our hostel here is busier than the one in Lisbon, but it seems to be an older age group traveling at this time of year.
