Slightly messy day today. A man came in for a colonoscopy tomorrow so gave him piccolax prep (same purpose as enema). but thus guy had a history of rectal ca, and had no rectum so a permanent colostomy. But the piccolax worked too well. bag exploded. well, burst off. abdomen ridiculously distended. poo everywhere. really everywhere in 'large amounts' very messy, had 2 change everything and he went and showered. also had pancakes this morning. felt sick afterwards. they were good pancakes tho. on an early shift tomorrow.
