ooh, having more success with the pictures 2day! shud have some of them up in a bit. not all of them, theres a lot. apparently i like takin pics of myself. hmm. free pancakes tomorrow!! if get up early i shud have enuf time 4 pancakes and get to church. am at work tomorrow afternoon. went in today because i have lost all my bits of paper, learning outcomes, elective stuff etc. will have 2 find them and print them off again. im sure i had them in my pocket wen i left, but suddenly they werent there the next morning. still have handover sheets tho. i think my body repels important documents. Went to rialto towers this morning. student price!! first saw some sort of show about melbourne. was appalling. waste of 15minutes. was a sort of moving brochure with a bad soundtrack. some of it was like someone had tried to write a disney type song and succeeded only in getting a group of poor muppets to lovingly sing things like 'its melbourne, a neverending story' etc. then it changed to the type of thing you would expect to hear behind a mad childrens tv presenter grinning and gesturing madly. of course i was surrounded by chinese ppl who were filming the whole debacle. restrained self from running out screaming. the view from the top was worth it, cud see for miles around, took some pics. didnt buy any souvenirs cuz they were v expensive. caved wen i saw the chocolate brownies. but that was so chocolatey i had 2 buy a drink too. then took the free tram (my favourite bit) to the library where i sat and did some wok, electrolytes and imbalances and ulcerative colitis and crohns. also did a diagram of a whipples procedure, much esier to say than wat it actually is which is a pancreaticoduodenectomy. will go bak again another day, but not on my day off i think. really good book, wanted to take it home. but was 2000 pages. v interestin tho. the little lady has gone. but theres other little pts who r cute too. can now take out a cvc or peripheral line. as long as i can figure out wher to cut the sutures without losin them. possums are very friendly, they all come up and sniff u, probably assuming u have food and as soon as they figure out u dont have any they go away and ignore u. will go to philip island next week and ramsey st booked for next day off which is thursday. im tired now.
