This is the last journal entry from melbourne. probably. Have booked the thingybus to the airport, gettin picked up at 7.15 am. just finished packing. took me about an hour. no idea how it fitted on the way here, only have a few more souvenirs, not a lot more. repacked it twice. and sat on it. but now i dont want to open it again til i get home, so that could be a problem in Sydney. good thing it has wheels, cant really pick the thing up! its amazing...

ST KILDA Went bowling for someones birthday last nite, i got 3 strikes! was proud. anyway, when i finally got out of bed i went to a chocolate shop called koko black and had a hot chocolate as alan had said that that wud be a good idea. PHILIP ISLAND Went to philip island yesterday. was really good. got picked up at 11 from the nunnery so i didnt have to go anywhere and got dropped off at the door too so that was good. Slightly messy day today. A man came in for a colonoscopy tomorrow so gave him piccolax prep (same purpose as enema). but thus guy had a history of rectal ca, and had no rectum so a permanent colostomy. But the piccolax worked too well. bag exploded. well, burst off. abdomen ridiculously distended. poo everywhere. really everywhere in 'large amounts' very messy, had 2 change everything and he went and showered. also had pancakes this morning. felt sick af...

Had a good day today. Was only doing what i usually do but i enjoyed it. Alan gives me more freedom with patients, particularly drugs as he doesnt watch me give them anymore. unless theyre IV which i cant really do. in UK IV training is post grad so i havent done much of that. Also did more of the icky aspirating stuff. i can cope with poo and blood, but that stuff is just nasty. bleugh. on a late shift tomorrow. think my last day will be next sunday,...
