it is just too cold in here! had a day off today. went to the melbourne gaol and got money off with my student card which i liked. it was really really cold in there too, freezing in fact! took a foto of myself with a mannequin and a man laughed at me! was pleased that i finally found someone to pose with me! i also bought my first souvenir! a little koala holdin an australian flag! then went to brunswick st. is so long that it took at least 20 mins to walk down it! also found the cafe where u get 10% off if you're stayin at the nunnery, i like discounts. the other day i went to melbourne museum and got in for free cuz i got there a bit late. i got bored with just takin fotos of me smiling so i took quite a lot of me pulling funny faces which entertained me quite a lot. rode the free tram all the way round the outside of the city centre, and got off at the stop i got on at. so now i know where i want 2 get off next time! free pancakes tomorrow mornin. and on a late shift 2moro so i get 2 have some! i shud be goin 2 theatre next week, wednesday i think. i shall try to put some pics on here early next week wen i can get to the other internet cafe. really is very cold here. weather is still sunny here even tho a little bit chilly. there are still people wandering around in tshirts and little jumpers tho. i still wear a coat. and sometimes gloves if its early in the morning and the sun hasnt woke up yet. ive taken quite a few photos. not sure how many my camera can hold. i hav taken around 100 i think. i got a bit snap happy when i started pullin faces. it was very funny! not sure wen next day off is but im lookin forward to it! also to goin to theatre. still goin ok at the hospital, learning lots and evryone is very friendly and tells me where to go on my days off. patients are cooperative too which is handy! they tend to notice ive got an english accent. they have dr who here too, just watched the one witht he werewolf and eaten half a bag of jelly beans (over several hrs) but still feel a bit sick! will write more lata xxx
