melbourne. not seen much of melbourne, im a 20 min walk from the city i think. from the airport it wasnt that nice, looked more like america than england, roads were huge, 4 lanes each side and they measure speed in Km insted of miles. that confused me 4 a bit im gonna go down 2 theatre at some poin in next few weeks to see laparotomy or somethin. or a few things! anyway, wen u cross the roads, u press the button and it starts clicking slowly until its time to cross then it clicks really quickly. bit odd. its a bit cold but not as cold as u wud expect from mid winter. its quite pretty, big skyscrapers n then funny little buildings in btw, old fashioned. theres trams too. its a bit scary crossin the road cux its just so far 2 the other side of the street! u wonder if the little man is gonna stay on green long enuf 4 u 2 scurry in front of the cars edgin 2 turn right. usually does tho. i learnt a few new words, like febrile is aussie for pyrexic. evryone is very friendly tho. and the patients are nice too. i think im a novelty cuz i always get introduced as the syudent from overseas, no1 is interested until he gets to the overseas bit then they go oooh cant think of anythin else really, money is goin ok, still got loads left, think i was scared of spendin any for a bit, ive written down evrythin ive spent then i add up wat i got left, sommat like 250 ish, cant remember off hand. will write more wen iv done somethin else interestin bye bye
