New Orleans was quite busy this weekend because there was a Saints game. There were buses full of Cowboy and Saints fans driving up and down Canal Street screaming at the folks walking around. They seemed to be having a good time but the people on the sidewalk just had a quizzical look on their face. I really think you have to be there or more likely be drunk for that to be fun. New Orleans was colder than expected. I was surprised to hear several locals say I am freezing. Even for a SOCAL person it was not freezing so NOLO's folks may be bigger wimps than we are. I headed to the WWII museum. I have not been taking in a lot of museums this trip because I just feel like being outside. My dad and his brothers were all in the military in WWII so I felt a personal connection to this museum. My dad never talked much about the WWII until the last year of his life and only reluctantly.
