On tuesday we had our second formal dinner, and we got to eat inside of a really cool castle! It was such an amazing location. We had to take these little buses up to the top of the castle around these really windy turns. I kept thinking about how much my mom would freak out if she was doing it...haha. But yeah, it was beautiful. When we got to the top you could walk up to the top of the castle and look out at the entire city...it was gorgeous. We were all dressed up in our fancy dresses and suits and I felt like I was going to prom again...oh how romantic!
It was a great night, except for the fact dinner took 4 hours and we didnt get out of there until 1am. I was exhausted. The food wasn't too impressive either. I liked the first dinner a lot more. If I remember correctly at this dinner we had rissoto with spinach, pasta with rabbit, veal with potatoes and artichoke, and a cappucino tiramasu.
Other than that, I've had a crazy busy week. I had an exam on tuesday, another one yesterday, LEAP programs and meetings, papers due, and a presentation tomorrow. The work gets dumped on right before our travel week so teachers make sure we are all caught up. SPEAKING OF WHICH, I'm stoked for next week. I leave tomorrow for Venice for a night, and then I fly to London on saturday, Paris on monday, and Barcelona on thursday. Heidi's best friend from home is coming up, and the three of us are gonna tackle Europe one credit card at a time...(JUST kidding). But yea, it should be a really great time.
Still haven't heard from Procter and Gamble. I emailed the woman on tuesday...so I should be expecting to hear from her anytime now. I hate the time difference because I have to wait until at least 2pm here until the working day even STARTS at 8am. I really would just like to know if it's a yes or no. I'll be okay if it's a no, but I need to start looking for alternatives for the summer. It's all coming so quickly.
Wanna hear a funny story? Yesterday we were supposed to take an exam at 3pm for my Global Entrepreneurship class. On our way to class, Heidi and I ran into a kid in the same class who was just leaving, and he informed us that it's a take home test. Heidi and I got so excited because it was SUCH a beautiful day and we did NOT wanna be in class. SO we started dancing in the hallway and for some reason she was like bouncing off the walls, and when she came back her head knocked me in the face right in the eye. I was dying laughing. Now my eye is bruised and swollen, and it looks like I am wearing purple eyeshadow. SO freakin funny!
Okay well I'm off to my 4 classes today!!! Ciao amicos!
