Had the best nights sleep so far! Found a nice spot beside the mouth of the river axe at the end of seaton beach. There was nowhere to attach my tarp so it was the first night properly under the stars. I figured out a way of using my bivvy bag to cover my head and only woke briefly to put on a hat at about 2am.
Waking up with the sun this morning was lovely. The sea was as still as a millpond and the light made the horizon blur into an indistinct line.
I woke myself up with a morning swim in my pants. Good times!
My phone is now fully charged and ready for the hilliest part of the journey so far. After studying the map, my plan to get to plymouth has been revised and I'm now aiming for widecombe on the moor, dartmoor. Still a 47 mile trip so we'll just see how we go.
I've just seen some of your messages that you've been writing on the blog and they've all all made me smile. Keep em coming. Thanks and wish me luck for the hills.

Matt Jones I'm frankly astonished at your definition of the word 'morning' here Michael. Being a bicycling hobo is no excuse for tardy blog posts! As you are a hobo, you need a hobo name. I would like to nominate Conkerpockets McGee, Vince 'Velocipede' Barleyguzzler or Churchill's Itinerant Sandwich Maker.
D go michael, youre a legend mate. what a lush view to wake up to :)
