I appear to still be in Pensilva! Last night I got adopted as an honorary Pensilvian by the crowd at the Victoria inn. What a great night! Loads of chat and dodgily named cocktails. Ended up under tarp in the early hours of the morning. Today has started slowly. It's now two o'clock, I've had some food and tea and I'm about to set off for St Austell. Will definitely come back here again for a visit. Friendliest pub ever!

I'm not going to lie to you. Today it got dark. Soon after packing up my camp and loading the panniers, the skies clouded over and a strong southwesterly came up. I set off on my way to tavistock and into some long climbs. With the wind in my face and dull skies overhead, every rotation of the pedals felt like a monumental effort for my already tired pins.
