After spending an enjoyable evening (great food, chat, and comfortable sofa) with Dan, Polly, Bronte and brambles the dog, I set off this morning for dart moor. Thanks guys for looking after me so well.
I caught the ferry across to Starcross as I had really wanted to see Dawlish which I'd remembered from my a-level geography classes. Unfortunately, I was confused. What I had thought was Dawlish was actually Lulworth cove in Dorset as Dan kindly pointed out last night. Doh! Dawlish was fine but just another seaside town (amusement arcades and tat). Not to worry, it made me chuckle. I don't think I'll be taking a detour to the other Dawlish (lulworth cove) this time though.
I'm now at a Beefeater near Newton Abbot and about to get some big food. I can see the hills of Dartmoor in front of me which is both exciting and a little daunting. It's going to be lung popping time!
Weather is beautiful and let's hope it stays that way.

Mila Mike, I'm so impressed with your progress. Don't let them hills daunt you... I'm sure your lungs can do with a bit of popping anyway!! What beautiful scenery, lucky you! ...I've got to get out of Bristol. Big food, yummy... I've got to start reading your blogs in the night when I'm not fasting! I'm still jealous. :-) Though my promise of a meal is now a feast when you get back to Bristol, you deserve it!! Keep going! x
