So we are in Udaipur, and we got in from one awful bus ride! Possibly the most bumpy roads ever invented into this world, and of course we went for cheapo seat option instead of a bed in the bus, it was truley hiddious! Megs back has bad again due to it, so we arrived not in good spirts!
Headed to a Recomended hostel, which although vey far out is super dopper nice! Our room has a TELLY and wifi, so we can watch films and be on tinternet at the same time! So I appolagise for the especially bad spelling it's due to the touch typing on the iPod! So that day we did nothing, watched 3 films in a row and my new thin is watchig the Hindi music channel, meg is not impressed!
That evening though we went out side the complex of the hotel and decided to try out some street food....could be dodgy!! First went for the safe samosa option, which wAs delicious, had a nice kick of spice and a beauty sauce! Then went for 2 things we didn't know....oh dear.....one was a red chilli in bread and it was sooooooo spicy we nearly burt our balls off, litterally thought we were on fire! The other thing not too sure what it was it was less spicy so better!! The man kindlly have us some kind od cake to cool down our mini fires in our mouth!
We also met some peeps from our last hostel so that wAs cool to catch up with a friendly face. Talking of which in goa we are meeting up with a fwend of mine from school, so that's fun!
Woke for breakie, standard, then rocked it down to the lake to do THE sights and sounds. And I tell you something udaipur is loverly. We saw the lake and the palace and some temples, it was great fun. This is were octop**** bond film was filmed so double cool. Whilst there we booked our epic train to goa.....first a bus to amedabad at 8.30am gets in at 1pm....train leaves then at 4pm train leaves for a 22 hour ride....bad times ahead of us!
Did some good shopping too, got some trousers and jewlery and pressies for peeps at home, our bags are dgetting full to the brim! Went to a cafe and had a hot brownie with icecream and custard it was goooood! Of course we halved it....budget! So came back to our hostel and went for some more street food, which was delicious and cheap, our new fav thing! Then purchased a mango for dessert! Fabulous day had.
One thing we havediacobered about India is that they are still in the 70s.....the men anyway....they just love love love da flares! Particarly White and tight flares, oneaim is to get a photo before leaving as they reAlly are quite something!
Sorry it's a brief and less detailed one, but the typing is very hard!
Moo moo poo give us the down low on trains from the devil.....
