Been having a great time in Tanilba Bay. It's been hard to find time to write between talking/pool/eating.

We arrived on Monday around 6pm. Said our hello's and had BBQ sausages cooked by Malcolm. After dinner we sat and talked a little while, but since we had such a long day, we headed for the cabins around 9ish.

We are all really impressed with the view. These cabins have everything! Full kitchen, 4 bunk beds & a double bed. Tv with DVD player. Melanie has taken a few pictures on her phone. I will get her to send me them so I can upload them.

Janae's first night was interesting. A beetle flew into our cabin and crashed into her foot. So she freaked out a little. Next thing we know she is panicking because it is now in her pajama top. So we had to rip that off and settle her down. This wasn't helping as we were trying to get them both into bed! Kayleigh fell asleep first, then Janae followed with a little persistence.

I woke up the next morning to find Janae and Kayleigh in our bed fast asleep. We were talking about having a sleep in, but next thing I know I'm getting up at 9 to go have breakfast! Not much of a sleep in after driving 11hrs the day before. It's all good though. Don't want to sleep away my holidays!

We went and said good morning to Oma & Opa, had breakfast, then went out to check out the pool. It was around 29 degrees outside, so very nice weather for swimming. The water was perfect! I uploaded a few pictures from the pool. Thanks to Rachel for taking them. The girls had a ball. We must of been in there for an hour or more.
I put sunscreen on, but didn't leave it on long enough prior to swimming, so I have burnt my shoulders and face a little. Not to bad. Looking forward to more swimming!

After swimming we had lunch together, then everyone decided to part ways for a few hours. We came back to the cabin thinking the girls might have a small rest, but Janae and Kayleigh were jumping on beds, and not settled at all. So they played outside for awhile. I made a camp fire with Janae and cooked pretend marshmallows. I put some picture up of that. Then we went for a walk around the caravan park with Dad.

When we got back to Oma & Opa's, we found that Fred had arrived from Sydney. So we all caught up before dinner. Great to have everyone together again. Just missing Jessica (who will be here this weekend).

Fred and Dad cooked dinner on the BBQ. We all had a lot to eat, then sat back to watch some family videos.

Tomorrow we might be going on the sand dunes. We shall see!!
