Thursday morning Melanie and Dad got up around 6 to go fishing. We decided that Mel would go this time as I was up late the night before writing a bog entry, so I looked after the girls (who slept in until they were done anyway). They caught a few whiting Melanie caught more the Dad...
They finished fishing around 9ish.

We had breakfast, then Fred and Malcolm came over. We wanted to take Dads Kayak out, but it was way to windy, so we went around to Mullabula, which was out of the wind. Beautiful weather for it. Fred went out first, then Malcolm jumped in. Shane and I went next. The peddles make it really easy. One person steers at the back, while both can use peddles to paddle. Janae really wanted a turn, so she jumped in the front and we went for a quick paddle. She panicked a little, but she loved it once she got used to it.
I looked for a Geocache with Dad andthe girls while Fred and Malcolm were out on the Kayak, but we couldn't find it anywhere :(

After that we went to Lemon Tree Passage for lunch. Most of us ordered Hamburgers with lot! Tasted great, though not as good as Dads recipe!

By the time we has finished we were ready for another swim in the pool. So we went to Oma & Opa's and spent a few hours in the pool.

Fred had to leave around 5. It's his birthday on the 13th! He will be coming back up on Saturday morning, bringing Maureen and Jessica with him.

Oma ordered fish and chips for dinner, it was great! After that we had chocolate fondue and watched some more home movies.
Wasn't up to late last night.

This morning I was up around 5:45am. Dad and I decided to go fishing. Before Dad got up I went to find a Geocache, that I found about 500m East. It was placed up the middle of a tree trunk. I had to shove a stick in it and shake it out. Logged it!!

Dad and I caught about 10 whiting. I caught a few big ones! Janae and Kayleigh came down with Melanie once they woke up. Janae held a few fish. She had a great time. Malcolm joined us as well.

We went back to the cabin for breakfast and coffee, then decided to take the Kayak out as it was perfect weather. Not a breath of wind. Melanie and I went out first. Then we tested out Dad's motor as he hadn't tried it out yet. Shane and Rachel also had a go.

I wanted to find another Geocache that was located 3.5km east up stream. So Shane and I prepared for our journey. We had my phone in a plastic bag, binoculars, sunscreen and hats. We looked the part! It took us around 45min to get up there, located the cache in about 10min, then 45min back again. Or maybe longer as the wind was against us. We were in the sun the whole time. We forgot to take drinks or even money lol. The motor worked all the way back, so we didn't even break a sweat! Logged it!!

We relaxed the rest of the day, not doing much at all. We had chicken and salad for dinner.

Looking forward to having everyone here tomorrow! The days are going fast!!
