Dad and Jess left for Sydney airport around 7:30am. She was off to New York! Its around about a 2 hour drive there and back. Her flight was around 2pm, but she had to be there 3 hours before her flight. Dad took my car as he was waiting on new tyres for his, and he didnt want to drive that distance with the old tyres.
After breakfast I drove Shane & Rachel to Newcastle train station, which would take them to Sydney airport. They were off to Hawaii, then will meet Jess in America in around about a week. We left around 8:45am.
I got back around 12:30. So I hired a peddle car to drive Janae and Kayleigh around. They had a ball. Kayleigh couldnt reach the plate with her feet, so when we went over the speed bumps, I had to hold her in. At first they were both a bit afraid, but by the end neither wanted to share turns. I only had it for 1 hour, so they got 2 turns each. It was hard peddling up the hills, I made a huge bump on my leg due to the bar across my legs. I only realised on my last trip that I could move the seat back 1 notch. That would have made a MASSIVE difference. Oh well.
Dad got back around 2pm. We decided to have a light dinner, since all week we have been having massive meals. We had sausage sandwhiches. Dad and Janae were feeding the birds sausage. Dad got 1 to eat out of his hand.
After dinner, we went down the the sand and fished for a few hours. The girls got dirty and played in the sand. Janae was holding fish!! I have only just now started to do that, so she is doing great! Melanie caught a toad! We all caught a few fish each, whiting, most too small to keep. We were down there until it got dark. Then we went up to bed.
Dad and I decided to get up and go out fishing in the Kayak first thing tomorrow morning.
