Well well well - Donna's best nights sleep so far!! Being at one with nature in the tent did her the world of good! We were woken up by our friendly neighbourhood woodpecker pecking on his wood. After a chilly walk up to the toilets and showers we decided we would stay an extra night here as it was so nice and relaxing, and a good price for what we were getting. Worth the extra long drive tomorrow anyway. It seemed only right that we should prepare ourselves with a spa session, so we got in some sauna and hot tub action for a couple of hours and headed out to Mariposa (not to be confused with Marisota, the middle aged clothing catalogue). This was an old western style town. Here we stocked up on supplies for the drive in the morning, which mostly consisted of redbull, snickers, crisps, bread and cheese. Why haven't we lost any weight yet?! We also treated ourselves to our first load of laundry, after getting slighlty confused by the worth of dimes and quarters. We checked in to the new room we had been given - a dorm with actual insulation!! Then headed back down to the lodge for dinner (fit steak) and a cup of tea. Some yokels then invited us over for a game of Yatzee, which was a thoroughly confusing game that seemed to consist of rolling dice. After that we headed up to the dorm where it was my turn for a top bunk - right under an air vent. After I added a few layers to keep warm and drifted off to sleep. At around 4am I was awoken by a concerned Donna as the vent was now pumping out boiling hot air, to avoid being cooked alive she went out into the hallway to invesitgate and thankfully found a thermostat. Much cooler and less flushed we were able to settle back to sleep.
