Looking forward to Island of adventure. Drive there and found it easily as not far from our hotel. We got there before opening. We knew that we wanted to go to the Harry Potter ride first. This ride does not have a fast pass. Ran as fast as I could. Wow. There was hogwarts castle above us. It was magnificent. We entered a small queue and walked in. Apparently queues can be over three hours at busy times.
We entered the castle. It was very realistic. There were the talking pictures, and dumbledore. It was warm inside and I would think with lots of people quite uncomfortable. Eventually we got to the ride with the walk taking about half an hour. We even saw life like holograms of Harry et al.
We were strapped into the drive. And we were off...... WOW. WOW WOW... It was like flying. The cars swung and moved back, forward, sideways. We were behind Harry Potter playing quiditch... Swooping down... It was exhilarating.
The ride eventually finished and we wer full of adrenalin as we got off.
back we went to join the queue for another ride. It was that good.
After the ride we went to the Hogwarts village and bought a butterball beer. Very cooling.
We also went into the queue to see inside the wand shop. Thsis was a long queue and it took ages to get inside. But it was worth it as the shop looked realistic and the man behind the counter looked very realistic. He picked a boy form the crowd and selected a wand which pushed out by magic from the other wands. Fantastic. Had our picture taken by the hogwarts express. The Americans loved the whole thing with Harry potter.
Bought some special Harry potter stamps which would be posted at the park.
After that we found a place which wa sarabian in feel. Some guys wer pressing tokens. Jordan decided to get a silve one for him and Mike and I got a free bronze one. They presses the pendant in front of us and said hazzer as they did it. Very good.
Went into the pyramid where we were locked in and had lots of adventures in there.
All the rides we went on we're excellent but the Harry potter was the best ever.
In the afternoon went on the water rides where we got absolutely soaked. Great as the temperatures were in the high eighties and we dried very quickly.m
We returned back to the hotel on a high..
