MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!

Sorry about the length and paragraphing of the last blog, i cut and paste it from Word and somehow all the paragraph spaces had gone and i couldnt be bothered to change it having took me so long to write so hopefully this one will be better for reading. well its probably going to be dull as we havent been working or doing very much at all but here goes ..

wednesday 19th dec - took full advantage of debbie and rowell being away and did nothing today apart from watched a few dvds and went swimming.

thursday 20th dec - went to Toowoomba xmas shopping with rob got lots of food and drink and he bought our presents. then we came back via the John Deere tractor shop (which is rob's second home) as per usual then headed home.

got home and decided to have a spur of the moment party so rob invited a few of his mates josh and ryan round and we had a bbq and went swimming and drank lots. got into the pool around half 2 and didnt get to bed till 5 in the morning as we wanted to watch the sunrise.

god did i regret that the next day - 43 MOSQUITO BITES!!!!!! from my eye brow to my big toe they were everywhere, and i was constantly itching. definaltely not gettin in the pool that time of night again ever.

friday 21st dec - mopped and swept the patio then called it a day. were far too tired for working and so went back to bed and then got up few hours later, watched some tv and had tea.

sat 22nd dec - DISASTER - THE HENS IVE BEEN LOOKING AFTER FOR ROWELL HAVE LAYED NO EGGS TODAY!!!! maybe im doing it wrong!! did a bit work today not sure what though and cant remember what else happened so....

..sun 23rd dec - gav came for over for xmas and we had an arguement about something or other, again have no recolection of what we did this day (and no i wasnt drunk) so ... NEXT

monday 24th dec - had a really good day today, got up and rob came over and we all watched the simpsons movie then we got drinks and got into the pool for a few hours. decided to play some drinking games and rachel kept loosing so she was very drunk. then we watched some more xmassy tv and ate pavlova and crisps and chocolate.

had a massive arguement with gavin just before i went to bed and he made me cry - on xmas eve in australia!! so i told him he'd ruined my xmas. oooops.

tuesday 25th dec - decided to act as normal today with gav and pretend the arguement never happened because i didnt want to ruin xmas day cos i love it!!, and everything was fine and has been since so its all good. got up at 7 and opened all my presents was so exciting. rob got me a bracelet, rachel some hair stuff, gav got me a princess barbie doll and a watch and a diamondy L phone charm. then off debbie and rowell we got some fizzy pink wine and some strawberry daquiri mix, a John Deere t-shirt, some chocolate, a facepack, and some australian souvenir bits and bobs. so i got some good stuff considering i thought id be presentless this year.

then we had bacon and eggs and steak with fried mushrooms and onions with toast for breakfast- yumm. cleared up after that got the meat in the oven, prepared some veggies and made some eggnog - bleeuuurgh then we chilled and watched shrek 3 eating chocolate.

had our roast, pulled some crackers, drank wine, ate too much - just like home really!! then we crashed in front of the tv again and watched some xmassy stuff. thank god the queen doesnt do her speech till 1am our time, so no xmassy fun of her being on every channel at 3. decided to go into the pool so we made oursleves some drinks and lazed about there for a few hours. haha bertrnad the dog was suffering too- his farts were horrific and his tummy was almost trailing the floor haha, then sat around drinking some more and went to bed.

wed 26th dec - cleaned up and emptied all the bins today yuk, ate leftovers yuk swept and mopped the patio as there was wine and cocktails and eggnog all over it. yet agin no eggs from the hens eeeek maybe there ill. rob says they need to chat every morning and that i need to tell them there beatiful - presume hes joking. only thing i ever say to them is 'dont you dare peck my feet'. will try having the chat tomorrow!!

rob and gav had a massive arguement about a sofa and a weights machine!! and rob stormed off home. again didnt do much today so not much to write about.

thursday 27th dec - did some gardening today till lunch then gav made us lunch of steak eggs onions and potatoes then we all went out mustering cows in the rain. so for the first time i wore my waterproof and they all laughed at me. but who was laughing when i came back 3 hours later warmer and drier huh??

so yeah went out on the quads trying to find the cows who had escaped was pretty fast and could hardly keep up but eventually we found them hiding in the trees. went into the trees to chase them out and went through a giant cobweb of what seemed like string i was nearly knocked off the quad. just hoped the spider wasnt on me. ended up chasing the cows miles and miles, through more horrid cobwebs some of the them were as big as a car and the spiders on them were hand sized with huge bodies and legs burrrrghhhh shivers.

got 4 of the cows to where we wanted them in the cow yard and this one cow refused to go in. there was four of us trying to guide it in and it was getting madder and madder, stamping its feet, snorting, tossing her head then it did a massive charge at robs quad almost tipping him off then it did it again as rob tried to barge it out the way. it then ran straight at my quad and gav was shouting ram into it, only i just froze and couldnt move and it rammed shoulder first into the front of my quad i just screamed and then rob came at the cow from the side and it fell to its knees got up and he rammed it again. it didnt get up this time and i cried cos i had been so scared and i thought he had broken its legs. it lay there moaning for a minute or two then must have been eyeing us up, as it got up again snorting and pounding its hoof against the ground and it ran at rachel this time cos she had her back semi turned on it only she got away. her face was the funniest thing though.

got back home wet, tired, cold, covered in mud and really thirsty but it had been so much fun. bertrand had gone crazy when we were out and hadthe whole wheely bin and the bottle bin and there contents all over the patio. how a sausage dog had managed to tip over a wheelie bin is beyond me but i smacked him bottom hard with the broom and he wont be doing that again ...... till next time. had a shower and then got the worst back pain in the world i lay on the bed and just couldnt move so gav brought me a hot water bottle and a hot chocolate which was really sweet. managed to get up and have some tea then i went back to bed.

friday 28th dec - still got a really bad back but at least i can move today. cleaned out the fridge and chucked away all the xmas leftovers, did some washing, swept the kitchen unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher then we did nothing for the rest of the day really. made tea and went to bed.

got to bed to find there was a gecko in my rooom eeeek. it was the dog who actually spotted it he was looking at something at the ceiling and wouldnt take his eyes off it. so i got a bowl and tried to catch it. only it was faster than me and got away 4 or 5 times before i managed. i chucked it and the bowl outside as far away as i could chuck and then shut the door quickyl. it only took an hour!!

sat 29th dec - Rachel left for Rochampton this morning at 5 and didnt even think to let the dog out for his morning piddle so when i rose from my beauty sleep at 9 he had done his morning piddle on the bath mat in the bathroom. massive praise to him for choosing the right room in the house to do it in i suppose, he must know thats were we all do it. but ewww did it stink. he ran away from me when he found out id found it scared i was gunna tell him off with the broom hahaha but thought i wouldnt as at least it wsnt on the carpet or in the kitchen or on my bed haha.

on my own now, been for a swim and im just packing and doing some laundry for taking away at new year. off to brisbane tomorrow morning dead excited!!
