hey hey

hope everyone is well at home. sorry if these are a tad boring!! ive got to write everything really quick with having to pay for minutes, and it ends up being like a list we did this then this then this.... and grrrr wrote this whole thing yesterday and then i got logged off and ran out of minutes so heres take 2.

So wednesday got to the Airport eventually by MRT train was hell - was packed and we had to stand the whole way with our packs on my knees were killing when we came to get off. the flight went by really quick actaually slept most of the way and watched No Reservations. hahah Becky had an old woman next to her who wouldnt stop talking elbowing her and wanted to sniff her food!!

So arrived Brisbane Thurs. Oh and yet again its raining!!! theres apparently been really bad storms here the last few days but it was only 7 oclock and the weather soon improved. Met the others once through immigration theres 3 other girls and 7 blokes Everyone is really nice and theres a big mix of characters.

Arrived at the hostel dumped our stuff and without showering yuk headed straight back out into town to sort out our medicare, visas and to get an Aussie sim card. (my new number is 0447356239 use it!!) ill probs have it in my phone more than the other one.

Went and had a bit of a look around and then got the bus back to the hostle so we could have a shower and get settled into the room. At about 4pm we went to get some tea as no one had eaten since 5 that morning. We got some pizza and then went back to the hostel to have a few drinks. Turned into the funniest night - played drinking games and found out a lot of information about people that probably shouldn't have been shared after only meeting that morning! very tired tho and we were all in bed by 9!

Friday - We got woken up at 6 by the whistle song, hundreds of kids and lotrs of banging doors we were no amused! but got up anyway and went for breakfast. We then went into town to have a look around get some lunch and to shop. got some new flipflops and a new towel! headed back to the hostel after that and went for a dip in the pool was very refreshing but full of floaters - bugs, snot and leaves! gross. so we didnt stay in long. Went to Nandos for tea and came back to the hostel for drinks. but still an early night and bed by 11 after of course getting the kids who were playing the whistle song back -banging on their doors and running away, immature i know but needed to be done!! haha the worst bit tho was being caught by their teacher who was further down the coridoor felt like being on a geog field trip again, but managed to get out of it by saying our door had just been banged on too! Day 6 Got woken up at 7 today as we thought we would but this time the tune was Cotton eye Joe grrr. Had breakfast with a load of v drunk aussies and then went back to bed! to catch up on some sleep.
