Wednesday night:

Rowell, Rob and Gavin were out harvesting till 2 in the morning!!! i was out with them till 11. After id showered Gav popped in so i made him some tea. then it started to pour down about 8 pm so he made me go with him to the grain sheds where hed just come from, to put the lids on the silos (big grain bin thingys). he didnt tell me this would include a 30m vertical climb up a little ladder in the pouring rain and the pitch black apart from the odd flash of lightening! ...twice!

And pretty much as soon as we had put them all back on the rain just suddenly stopped. grrr. but we left them on and climbed back down. Even though we were soaked tho didnt feel cold it was sooo hot still, but anyway got back in his truck and went to another grain barn to make sure it haddnt been damaged by the rain. it hadnt so was all good but gavin made me climb onto the roof just for fun, wasnt as bad this time the ladder was slopped a bit but it was as high if not higher than what wed just climbed before so had my crazy shaking scared legs on! We got on the top and it was so windy thought i was gunna blow off so i sat down, but the lightning was amazing the most amazingest ive ever seen, and you could see the combine harvester lights in the distance working into the night. sat up there in the pitch black an hour just talking and watching was pretty cool. Then it started raining again so climbed down and just as we got into the truck and started driving it was torrential so we made it down just in time!!

Thursday.

Gardening again today! But i was paddling in the mud and it was so boggy after the night befores rain. Actually didnt mind it as much today had the music blaring and i was singing along and dancing with my rake haha. Then Gavin crept up on me and shouted boo and i got a massive shock, jumped and got that scared i cried.

Didnt really do much else today just gardening and mulching which is reasonable fun i suppose. Cooked a huge 8 egg omelette for Gavin and ROwell when they got back and then Rowell went off out again didnt hear him get in last night so must have been another late one!!

Friday - i think.

im not really sure what day it is today. i thought it was thursday and i told rowell when he asked earlier it was thursday but my last blog was wed which was two days ago so guess it must be friday i think. waffle waffle waffle. so Happy Birthday Andrew!!!! aaagh and if it is actually thursday then Happy Birthday for tomorrow too!

Probably not be updating blog as much from now on as Debbie's back later today and ill have to actually do some work.
