Hello hello Yes its blog time again!! And this ones gunna be a long'un as yet again I have been to lazy/busy to get it done every few days.So way way back on Friday 30th november I gardened all day and then went over to gav's house because rachel was annoying me so much. Guts, Jake and Flic came over too and we just played cards and drank so nothing that exciting really.Friday the 1st- got up bright and early and headed into Toowoomba for a spot of shopping (notice I said a SPOT of shopping as Gavin wouldn't let me do much) anyway bought a washing machine (us pommies blew the last one up!) An ipod, picked up some tractor parts and I bought myself a new camera as the old one wasn't taking good pictures and the screen was fuzzy. Very Mountainous at Toowoomba which is strange after being out here so long, so we climbed a mountain… in the 4wd haha. Some good views from the top but it was so so cold. Went to Sizzlers for tea which is an all you can eat place, so guess what we did! … then we waddled back to the motel after eating so much that I could bearly breathe.2nd Dec Sunday - Picked up the washing machine and then went for a big breaky/brunch an amazing fry up at this really quaint café place overlooking a park. Left after that and got home about 6pm. Got home also to discover Rachel (girl I'm working with) had a car crash and rolled our four wheel drive. So Rowell had gone to get her. She had apparently swerved to avoid a puddle and skidded sideways and here there and everywhere and landed upside down on the roof then it rolled back down on the side and she got out unharmed with a few cuts and bruises. But god was I relieved I wasn't in the car and I so easily could have been. To be honest she has been driving like a maniac since she got here and theres been a number of times shes skidded with me in the car and ive told her to slow down so many times so it was only a matter of time before it happened. I'm just so so unbelievably relieved iwasnt in it. Yeah and this sounds mega b****y but I'm kinda glad it happened cos it will wake her up and get her to slow down. Uuurrrgh and what annoyed me was she kept saying it wasn't her fault - but who else was there? Who had there foot on the accelerator? Who swerved?? HER!! And god is she a moaner I didn't hear the end of this pain and that pain I was just like grrrr shut the hell up!! At to top it all off she crashed listening to my new CD and its now trapped in the Player and the car is destined for the crusher anytime soon eeeek.3rd Dec Monday - Rowell called a staff meeting and everyone who worked for him came over. He was worried, rachels crash was the 5th in as many months cos Johnno had rolled his Ute twice, Geoff had crashed into a tree in the night cos his headlights broke and he thought he'd get home ok, then geoff crashed into another car pretty much head on cos the other car had only one light working. Then he crashed into a massive wild pig and smashed up the front of the Ute. These cars all belong to Rowell so undestanably he (and the insurance company) weren't happy and wanted to change things - he has!! Geoff has since been sacked.Had some lunch then got back to the gardening, only moaning minnie couldn't do any work cos her neck and back were hurting. So madam went to bed and I worked away. To be honest im glad she went to bed cos if I had to work and suffer with her moaning on any more I might have wacked her with the rake.4th Dec Tusday - Rachel and Rowell went to the police station today to get the crash reported so yet again I was left working on my own for the whole morning! And even when she came back she just sat on the mower while I did the hard stuff grrr she makes me angry sometimes. Was angry and irritated today cos of her and cos the gardening was hard and cos gavin came over and basically said my gardening was crap and id missed some, so I slung the secerteures?? (cutty thingy me bobbies) at him (hitting his arm yesss!!) and said do it yourself and stormed off. Haha GO ME! Went for a swim to chill out.5th Dec Wednesday - washed Rowells Ute today in the morning and Dusty - our new Ute in the afternoon. Was bit dull don't enjoy washing and polishing cars.6th Dec Thursday - Gardened at Yulabilla untill about 11 then we made 12 lots of sarnies and headed over to Undulla for lunch with the workers. Mowed the lawn there then went to Roberts and did his lawn too. Everyone else was out mustering on quads which was so unfair all I got to drive that day was the bloody lawnmower.7th Dec Friday - today was the best day for a while. Me and Rach put the Christmas tree up it looks amazing and debbie has a really amazing expensive bauble collection and it looks so good. Then we went to Alongamor where gav lives and over to his cattle yards where we had to wait for the cattle truck to arrive. Got to pat one of the hugest bulls they own, which was so good, its a brahman breed one that rowells had since it was a baby and it's a bit tame, so I wiggled his funny wibbly bit of skin that brahmans have and he liked his tummy and hump rubbed. When the truck arrived did Eric one of the workers unloaded what was in it and we hopped in to do a load. Took 5 hours to get to Undulla, heard all the cows on and bring them back to Gavs was good fun though and we got to drive the cattle truck too.Oh John resigned today as well which was a bit sad. Nobody knows why but Rowell reckons he did something bad, so bad that if he gets found out then he would get sacked so he beat Rowell to it. But anyway Rowell is advertising for someone new as both John and Geoff have gone now.8th Dec Sat - Went round to Gav's with Rowell to help them move the cattle from the yards to the fields. Rachel didn't come as she didn't want to 'work' on her day off. Hardly work though I had great fun rounding them up in Gav's Ute and watching them experience electric fences for the first time ever. They're so unbelievably dumb but really cute too. Then we came back and watched a dvd then Gav dropped me back at Yulabilla and Rob came round for tea. Ate tea sat in the storm tho its probably the worst storm I've seen. I shrieked through tea at least twice at the loudness of the thunder then as soon as we got stuff cleared away it poured down the most torrentialist of rain I've ever seen and the rain was gushing in onto the patio and the roof was leaking and the outdoor toilet and laundry room got flooded was crazy! Got dead scared in bed that night too cos the thunder seemed to be right above my room and it sounded like loads of guns going off.9th Dec Sunday - The calm after the storm - everything is boggy!! Got dead bored so went into Miles for a few hours, then came back via Rob's, watched a dvd and then had tea and went to bed.10th Dec Monday - Pouring down when we got up today so I was like yesssss! No work today. But then debbie made us do inside jobs like dusting the picture frames for gods sake - who does that!! Had to clean out the lights and air con vents too which was gross and then it dried up so we did some gardening in the afternoon. Debbie and Rowell went out to a party that night just so happened there was a power cut too so we were plunged into pitch black so we waited for a while cos it normaly comes back on after a few mins but then we waited some more and then gave up found a torch and got some playing cards. A powercut here is nothing like them at home, when I say pitch black I mean the kind of blackness where you cant even tell if your eyes are open or shut which is pretty scary. Then the night went downhill rain started getting heavier and heavier, thunder started getting nearer and nearer, torch started gettting dimmer and dimmer, then two, half cm long flies landed on the torch screen but because the shadow on the wall was a few metres away it enlarged the shadows and these tiny flies looked the size of rats. We obviously didn't know they were flies at the time so screamed and ran into the living room but into the dark so we were like arrgh need torch - then we saw them so panic was over. Well almost, the mousetrap behind the heater went off a while later and scared us both to death then as we had calmed ourselves down decided to have something to eat the thunder went off right above us and we both screamed and bernie started barking and going mental I was almost crying at this point cos I was sooo scared and I kept thinking of horror movies where someone appears in the lightning flash waiting to murder you. Yeah I feel pathetic looking back but I think id worked myself up a bit with the mousetrap going off and over thinking things. Anyway the horror movie thingy came true as gav appeared at the window and knocked really loudly scaring us both to death one last time and then as if by magic the power came on as he walked in the door which was freaky.11th Dec Tuesday - Gardened all day was unbearable though the storm had caused the humidity to go up and I was just sweating buckets doing not much at all. My sweat even managed to scare me a few times by running down my chest or back and tickling my skin making me think a massive bug was on me. Urrrgh and there was a huge hairy tarantulla on the wheel barrow today which was horrible so I smacked it with the rake and killed it but then I poked it to see if it was dead and it must have had one last massive muscle spasm and it did a massive jump which made me jump too.Ive killed many a thing with that rake it's a handy tool really, that's why I suggested smacking rachel with it above - aaaagh not cos I want to kill her… well maybe…. no I don't really…. just shut her up I suppose. Got a massive deep cut on my arm today off some horrid spiky plant so I also smacked it with the rake and killed it - na not really but it hurt loads and the flies were landing on it yuk. 12th December Wednesday- YUK YUK YUK today we had to clean out Johns house which he rented of Rowell. Was minging. Everything was covered in dead flies or grease or just general man mingness. But we cleaned his whole house top to bottom and it was gleaming when we left, took all day though. Had some incinerator fun tho we had to burn all the rubbish we'd made so chucked it all in an old petrol drum and set it on fire only we had forgot about throwing away all his old deodorant aerosols and other flamable bomblike substances. Was like a fireworks display, bottles shooting off sideways, aoerosols popping, a number of huge fireballs. Was probably pretty dangerous thinking back but hey was fun at the time haha. Came to leave and the creek we have to drive across was really high and we didn't know how deep it was so rachel got scared and stopped and I thought id chuck rocks to see if I could tell how deep it was by the sound of the sploosh, worked a bit but not really, then I decided id just paddle and find out but then I thought urrrgh there could be leeches and eels and crocs in that water so I didn't, anyway I got so sick of her sitting on her arse barking orders, thinking shes IT, I told her to get out and let me drive. She refused and I just shouted at her 'well whats your plan - sit here all day looking at it' so she got out. And I drove over no problem. Urrrgh I hate her. Shes so unbelievably bossy and I was so looking forward to her going after Xmas. After Xmas there was only going to be a job for one so I got offered it first and if I refused she would then be offered cos ive been here longer.
id planned to take it all along but I told her I was undecided whether to take it just cos I thought somewhere else might be better and different. When she found there was only one job going she did everything possible to try and get me to go to see Becky in Western Australia and get work there just so she could have the job here. What a cow! Anyway Rowell and Debbie have given us both the job till end of Feb, me possible till I leave just cos there short of workers with Geoff fired and john resigned. But Rachel's leaving the middle of feb and the sooner the better. Came back home to find that the dog had been through the bins and there was rubbish all over the garden. Was not happy, it was stinking but guess who had to clean it up cos fat cow didn't want to. urrrrgh id go as far to say i hate her and the sooner she goes the better she keeps saying me and you, lets go somewhere new year together and I'm gunna have to meet up with you back home and I'm just like no way if i can get as far away from you as possible it wont be far enough. She eats like a pig too always serves herself more, eats buiscuts non stop and takes the largest portion so I'm doing my best not to eat as much to make her look fatter and feel bad hahahaha god I'm nasty. I am still loosing bit weight here but I cant tell by looking at me. I told her I had just to rub it in and she told me to f*** off!!13th Dec Thursday- the day of the Roady Party. (a xmas party/ get together once or twice a year for people up your road - 60km of road, where everyone brings some party food or nibbles) today I cooked cleaned polished and made the place look amazing. Rachel gave me the mopping to do cos she wanted to sit on her ass and do the mowing. She may as well be glued to that mower seat the amount shes on it haha. But anyway I got the mopping and sweeping done loads faster so I was relaxing with a drink watching her on the mower haha then I even had time to make a cake and some fancy nibbles which was way more fun than the mower silly cow. Don't get me wrong I hate the girl yet she isnt ruining my time here or anything.Got all pretty for the party straightened my hair for the 3rd time since I got here- im doing well. And then got all the food and drinks ready for people to arrive. Was good fun, had some steak on the Barbie and ate lots drank lots and had lots of fun and met some interesting people. 14th Dec Friday - Rachel went with Debbie to Toowoomba so I had a whole day without her, which was amazing so I cleaned up after the party, did the window cleaning and then some ironing.Oooooh and the chickens' chicks were born today 3 yellow chicks and 2 black ones. There sooo cute. Rowell loves his chickens and I think they love him back too they get all excited when they see him walk over. Went over to Gavs at lunchtime to help him. Had to take Bernie with me cos nobody else was in and he goes crazy on his own. Was funny though cos he wanted to come with us on the quads so he ran behind us as fast and as far as his little legs could take him but he turned back. We had to de-bog the motorbike, which was stuck in mud up to the bottom of the seat. Got covered head to toe in mud but was really fun, then we went out on the quads chasing cows, rounding the loose ones up and getting the others to change fields. Watched a dvd then Jake came over and we played Wii, then went to bed.15th Sat December - Got up and went to check to cows on the quads again managed to loose bernie down a cattle grid so we left him there thinking we'll get him on the way back but just as we turn to head back almost 3 km from the cattle grid theres bernie running along trying to find us. Hes so funny when he runs his little bum does a wiggle, being a sausage dog though he must have been shattered. He sat on the back of my quad for the ride home! I love the quads there so much fun. Went for a dip in the dam when we got back just to get the mud off.Went back to Yulabilla and Chris the final son I hadnt met was over for the weekend with michelle his wife and Caitlen and Jesse his too cute girlies. So there was a house full as rob came over nad gav stayed too. Had steak again on the bbq and they exchanged presents and ate mince pies it was a really good night.16th Dec Sunday - Up today and Rowell had made a massive fry up for everyone which was very yummy. Then more family came over - Debbies sister Alison plus her 3 kids and Ivy, Debbie's mum came too so there was kids and people everywhere was crazy but at the same time really nice and we had a big lunch all together and even the two builders who were fixing the bathroom door joined us to eat. Me and Gav left for Toowoomba about 2 o'clock 17th Dec Monday - Gavs Ute had to go in for service so we got a courtesy car and went Christmas shopping for the day was quite stressful cos I had my presents to buy and had to help gav with his buying. But managed it by about half 4. Got home pretty late ate tea gave Debbie and Rowell there Xmas presents and then conked out slept like a log.18th Dec Tuesday - said goodbye to Rowell and Debbie today there off to Western Australia for a few weeks and have left us pommies in total charge of the dog, the house, the plants etc. She has also left us a huge list of jobs to be done but said as long as they get done by the time they get back she doesn't mind if we have days off or lie ins on blitz it all at once so that's cool. Oooh and shes left us presents under the tree and $50 for xmas food and drink which is so nice of her. But as you can tell I haven't done a spot of work today and have taken full advantage of them not being here haha but at least im now up to date on here.Rachel is annoying me almost constantly now. Just shes always got to be right and shes so gobby and never wants to do what I want to do. And she hates Gavin which annoys me cos I enjoy just chatting and spending time with him and she does everything she can to get away from him. I snapped at her today, I was leaving a message for Rowell on his mob and i was talking, then she started telling me what to say and i couldnt hear what i was saying or what she was so i left him a gabbled message then she said why didnt you say this and this and i went GRRR COS I COULDNT HEAR MYSELF THINK WITH YOU TALKING IN MY EAR WHILE I WAS TALKING AND AFTER I SAID SHHHHHH TWICE urrrrrgh sometimes I just need to get away from her but i cant. Shes decided shes going to Rockhampton for new year with Rob, Ryan, Josh (the 2 builders) and John (who resigned) for this massive 5 day party thing where all you do is drink and puke. She'll end up just drinking away all the money shes earnt and becoming fatter and im sooooo not doing that and gav said he didn't want to either so we said we'd go somewhere together maybe Brisbane and watch some fireworks then I go back via the coast for a few days and the mountains which will be good. Anyway that's me done I think. Sorry it's a long one. Hope everyone is well at home, hope your not all too cold. Missing you all loads. xxxx
