Greetings!
Today's adventure was to Knotts Berry Farm, the country's 1st theme park. We had a golden day today, and originally they were arranging a trip to Six Flags that we could pay to go on...but a few days ago we received an email from our producer saying the Six Flags trip was cancelled, and he was treating all of us (cast, crew & musicians) to this instead. Thanks Will! What a day. First of all, it was a Monday in February, so it was petty much empty. We could walk onto every single ride. It was 70 degrees, sunny and gorgeous. It's a pretty incredible park. Very family friendly, but some awesome thrill rides. My personal favorite was the wooden coaster which I rode 4 times in a row (I think I gave myself a concussion...or left an organ...it was intense!). The park's mascots are the Peanuts characters, though Snoopy was no where to be found...a Monday in February...with an empty park...I think he stayed in his doghouse! The kiddie area is called Camp Snoopy and has miniature versions of all the adult rides: roller coaster, tilt-a-whirl, free drop, etc. One of the cooler kiddie areas I have ever seen!
It was a long day - after 8 hours we got on the bus and fell asleep - but it was surprisingly fun and satisfying. Still recovering...I love roller coasters, but the tend to throw me for a loop...hahaha, get it?! I think I'm still dilerious... :)
Enjoy!
