Friday came around. The 30th of May, 2008. We ate breakfast at the diner for the huge lodging area we stayed at in Yavapai. After that we stopped at a few places for sight seeing before heading back to Flagstaff and down to Cottonwood. We saw Flagstaff a whole new way than when we had the plane tour, and both times we saw it, it was amazing! We wanted to do the ski lift at Flagstaff but didn't have the time, and didn't make the plans. But we had a great drive of relaxation, fun, and pictures on the way to Cottonwood. When we got at our hotel in Cottonwood, it was almost dark. We went swimming for the last few hours of daylight before we went to a country style dinner at a little ranch that had western shops, roping, shooting, a few barn animals, and a great family atmosphere! We had a great time eating dinner, getting to know others, and enjoying a wonderful show of music, entertainment and "poetry". After getting all our laughs out at that great place, we went on back home to our hotel in Cottonwood to catch up on rest, and skype our family (my mom and brother) who had been spending time in Costa Rica while we were in Arizona (something we had never done before [separate vaccations]).
