On May 26th (Monday), 2008 my dad and I went to one of Sedona's famous hiking trails. I believe we saw what is called Cathedral rock. There was a river / stream that was coming by and we walked through it (and my dad fell in!) After that we saw what all these fun people had done.... they had taken rocks (because everything is rocks in AZ)... small ones, but starting with large ones, and stacked them! It was so neat looking! My dad and I figured it may have been a vortex idea, but we didn't care and we just wanted to have fun! So we made one that looked like it had eyes! Hehe! Then we crossed the river a few times (ankle deep FREEZING water), and we headed back to the airport for our private plane tour from Sedona, to Flagstaff, up to the Grand Canyons starting on the S. side, and circling going E. then N. then W. then S. again. We passed by Falgstaff again, where there was still snow on the mountain top! Our plain was a little bigger than a bi-plane. This tour took 2 1/2 hours (aprox.) and when we got back to Sedona, we thanked the piolet, and went down that huge hill again before stopping half way at a small mountain / rock that we climbed. I started towards a really steep part and just kept going! My dad followed me. Once we got up there, we took a video of the amazing scenery, and we took pictures! It was one of our favorite times. Then we went back to the town and ate dinner... I cannot remember what we ate that night though... I believe we may have gone to see Narnia, Prince Caspian that night as well.
