Day two. I can hardly remember what we did during the morning of the 25th of May, but I do remember asking (pleading) to do as much horseback riding as possible, being a rider myself. I know that it was this day that we went on a group trail ride at a ranch in Arizona. It was a 45 or so minute drive out to the ranch. We got there and everyone was so nice.. I was SUPER excited. I had just got a new camera (NikonE5700) that my auntie had given me and I got it fixed by Nikon for only $40.00! So I was super excited! They went over basic rules and common horsey sense before mounting my dad first. I was on a horse called "Hardey", and he was an appy. So cute, and so stubborn those trail horses are! I thought I could out smart him by grabbing what I call a swatch (a branch to use as a bat, [whip]) and smack him when he did not listen to the "no trail snacking". I had kicked, pulled, smack with my hand, and used the excess reins to hit his neck before I tried the swatch and sure enough, it broke in mid air as I was trying to smack him. He gave me a smirk-ish look. Horses are crazy So anyways, we had a great trail! Ooooh, I remember now that before we went trail riding, my dad and I visited the airport at Sedona to see what was available for helicopter or plane tours.. he asked me if I would rather ride today or have a tour today and I said, "RIDE!" So we set it up for the next day going on a plane tour and that day riding. We then visited the viewing point on the way back to more level ground from the airport and it was beautiful! We took pictures and talked. Then we went to a tourist attraction sort of artsy and exhotic looking village sort of thing? There was metal art, paintings, shops and food! We ate at a Mexican restraunt there, yum! (Then we went riding)
after riding we ate dinner and went back to the hotel where we hibernated until the next morning. Check for updates on the next day, and the rest of our trip!
