Holy crap! I can't believe I haven't updated since December! Things are happening. The trip has been booked and we will be on our way in a little over a week. The itinerary has changed quite a bit:

Fly into Frankfurt, Germany

Drive to Prague (we're not taking trains this time - just driving everywhere)

5 days in Prague, Czech Republic

1 day in Andelbusch, Austria

5 days in Weggis, Switzerland (mainly visiting Lucerne and Engelberg)

1 day in Luxembourg

1 day in Cologne, Germany

5 days in Amsterdam, Netherlands (Pearl Jam, b****es!)

4 days in Bruges, Belgium (hot air balloon ride)

overnight in Frankfurt - fly home

There's overlap in some areas. We're actually overseas for 3 weeks. That list makes it look like it's slightly more, but it's only 3 weeks.

It's going to be fast and furious. And it's slightly more disorganized than our past trips. And all of the countries speak foreign languages, predominately German. I don't know any German. When we were in Paris the first time I kept wanting to say things in Spanish, and I imagine that when I get flustered on this trip I will want to say things in really bad French. But this is my "I Survived Grad School" gift to myself so I'm trying not to stress about it.

Scott's brother is living at our place to take care of Miss Emmy Lou. Along with a large host of pet sitters. She's doing extremely well right now. Scott and I kind of feel unprepared for this trip. Not sure why. We're taking more luggage this time around because we're driving everywhere. So anywho, we'll be off soon. Updates to come.
