Hello all,

Weather update - its cloudy and raining - I believe it is nice and sunny back home - talk about picking a bad time to come away!! Caught the sun a little yesterday - but today - nothing but clouds and rain!!!!

Anyway - had an Island tour yesterday - went to a picture post card beach (despite the rain!!), Chinese Temple, Waterfall and a home made ice cream place - which was yummy!! Travelled in the back of a pick up truck which was very cool once you got used to it!

Went to a lovely restaurant for a meal last night - then a couple of beers in a local bar - did not go to the half moon party - some of the others did and they were a little worse for wear this morning!!

Got back to my bungalow to find not 1, but 4 frogs in my bathroom, nightmare - had to catch them 1 by 1 and put them on my flip flop and throw them outside!! Just what you don't want!!

Water supply was down yesterday - so showers were limited and quick - a case of get it while you can!!! I could just have stood outside in the rain with my radox shower gel!!!

Anyway - today we started planning the teaching - devising activities under themes / headings / units - curriculum planning - sounding familiar to you guys at Keele!! Have the master plan for next week now - spending tomorrow preparing the materials - que cards etc.. collecting resources etc... so its been a pretty long day - all having a meal out tonight in the next village - going in the back of the pick up trucks so white trousers not recommended!!

cannot wait to meet the kids now - hoping it will all go according to plan and if not - well I am used to flying by the seat of my pants!!!!

Hoping my little friends will not return to my bathroom tonight!!!

I am praying for a bit of sun as well!!!!

Anything else to report ---------- not at the moment - will update more once the teaching starts , have diving and cookery classes next week also!!

Not managed any more swimming in the pool yet - have paddled in the sea!!!

Planning on a bit of shopping tomorrow night (seems rude not to - plus I have to use my bartering skills!!!)
