Hello all, arrived in Koh Phangan which is where I will be for the next 2 weeks.

Just to back track to yesterday - I had a great last day in Bangkok - saw loads more sights - took a Tuk Tuk which was great but terrifying!! Did some shopping and bartered with the best of them!! Met some more great people - but still no massge - need to have one soon - my feet are aching!!! Was sad to leave Bangkok but looking forward to new adventures (and hopefully somewhere I can sleep at night!!)

The journey here was awful - truly terrible, not going to bore you with details but planes, trains, boats, buses and pick up trucks - you get the idea!! Still I am here in 1 piece cannot say the same about my holdall it has taken a battering!!

Well the beach bungalow is indeed right on the beach it is v basic indeed but quite large with a double bed and a single bed just for me. No wardrobe so going to be living out of my trusty battered holdall!! Have my own hammock though on my own balcony!! Seems v quite at the moment not too many people around at all.

There is 8 of us here from the project so far others should be arriving later today. Not seen much sign of organisation yet hopfully it will all come together tomorrow!!!!!!!! We have to meet at 8.30am for the start of an Island tour which I am looking forward to in order to get my bearings!

There is bingo tonight yeh!!! Then a meal and some drinks hoping to be able to sleep as well after my journey from hell!!!

It is cloudy, raining, damp here, no sun hope it comes out tomorrow although very humid!!! Will update more tomorrow
