Hey All, Well just finished 2 full camp days on the main land - after a long journey there we were welcomed by not only the School but the whole local community - it was in an area they very rarely see western people so they went all out to make us feel welcome - from the Headteacher and the to the other teachers to the dinner ladies to the parents - it was awsome!! Hello All Ok - just a quick update to say I am still alive after eating my own Thai cooking! It was good fun - our teacher was taking no messing around - she was v strict indeed!!We prepared the food out doors then into the kitchen for cooking - which in the heat was almost unbearable! Hello All, Well first day of teaching today (8.30am - 3pm!!) and it was great I loved it so much - the kids were great, so full of enthusiasm and energy! Their English was not as good was we thought it was going to be so we had to adapt some of our activities - but they all really enjoyed it - got some super photos.
