I was woken up at midnight lastnight by the guys at the hostel who were moving around beds in the room and at 5am we had a bunch of people check-in to my room and decide to sit up and talk all morning instead of going to bed. So today is the day to find some long-term accommodation. I went for one last look at Angelo's place and then over to Waikiki House, at around 1pm I decided that Waikiki was the better choice and the old lady had gone to so much effort getting my room arranged with a desk, chairs and hard mattress. I then had to break the news to the guys over at the hostel as they were hoping I would stay with them for the month. I took my things and headed to the new place and got myself settled, I took a small room with a sea view but unfortunately it had no wifi so I moved to a bigger room with good wifi connection. It's really nice to be able to unpack a bit and have some structure to my sleep arrangements for the next month. In the evening I went and visited my new friend Angelo and sussed out a board and a wetsuit to borrow and met some of the backpackers staying at his place: couple of girls from Austria, a guy from Switzerland and a guy from Ecuador. It's been a long-time since I have had my own room and a quiet environment to sleep-in, bring on a good nights sleep.
