I managed to get 'stuck' in a tiny town called Town 1770 for nearly a week. My hostl Cool Bananas is hands down the greatest place I've stayed on my trip. Hello everybody, Armed with a dirt cheap Greyhound pass, I headed down the coast to Mission Beach for a few chilled days. I did some terrific hiking trails in search of the elusive cassowary but still couldn't find any! The second day I headed over to Dunk Island, pretty much unspoilt once you leave the jetty.
